Julie spent most of her growing-up years in Arizona and New Mexico where she learned to play piano and guitar.  She tried her hand at songwriting when she was very young.  She writes about events in her life as well as what she sees in the world around her.  She currently lives with her family in Utah where she loves the mountains - especially skiing in the winter!
